An easy-to-read summary of the full IPCC position.  This material is all familiar, but the packaging is short and to the point.  What I keep finding is that the basic evidence provided for what has been happening is very convincing, while the projections for what lies ahead are less well-defined, yet stronger than before.  When it comes to solutions the IPCC is on the right track but ends up losing focus and leaving too much to the imagination.  The CO2 level, as found in the atmosphere, is what should peak within ten years, which means annual emissions need to peak almost at once and then quickly start to head down.  Sucking CO2 out of the atmosphere is now just pie in the sky, and far more expensive per unit than actions that cut off new additions.  If it can be done, fine, with the least amount of waiting, but who is going to do it, or pay for it?  The concluding part about reorganizing society is not a wise or necessary thing to say.  It can only ignite concerns about an underlying agenda, that would use fear of climate change as a wedge by some group of elites to help realize their actual goal.  That precise concern is one big reason why nothing real has been accomplished over the last thirty years.  Why keep it alive?  There is some hope that China will change course, for reasons of its own, which for now can only be recognized as inscrutable.
Extra comment:  When all is said and done, there is one objective of immediate and overwhelming importance that stands out:  Get rid of fossil fuels, as quickly as possible, and then some.  Luckily for everyone (very luckily indeed!) suitable types of alternative energy are now available.  Go for it, in a relentless way, treating the situation as the emergency it has now become.  We could even think of this as a war, and thus be willing to accept various setbacks and losses along the way.  (That in itself is nothing new.)  The goal is simply to regain the hope of a livable planet, one that is now seriously threatened by past misdeeds that need correcting.  At one time those misdeeds seemed innocent, indeed beneficial, but that is no longer the case, or a valid excuse.
