A new study sets limits on the rapidity of Antarctic melting.  This work is basically but not fully supportive of the IPCC position while arguing against the more fanciful type of projections that are promoted elsewhere.  It is a serious study that will carry weight, and will no doubt be employed for purposes of argument in Paris, leaving those who might wish to respond little time for preparation.  Be sure to read the followup post.
